'Vacancies are harder to fill, and will only get more difficult' says study.

The UK is less of an attractive place for people looking for work from non-EU countries.

The research, conducted by the CIPD, found that over 1000 employers believed that vacancies were getting harder to fill. The factors attributed were, lack of interest in using a Post-Brexit system, high employement and an accelerating skills shortage.

This is leading to employers needing to increase their pay rates, which could have detrimental affects on the industries afflicted. The issue is only predicted to get worse, when in 2021 restricitions will be placed on EU Nationals.

Although noted the 'points based system' may be in place, organisations say the administrative burden will be to great.
