Christmas with Age UK

Age UK is the country's largest charity dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life. With thousands of elderly people all over the UK left without family, friends or neighbours to call or visit during the festive season, despite being the fastest-growing group in society, they are also the most let down. Age UK therefore make a point of bringing these people together to celebrate Christmas in a warm, friendly environment, complete with Christmas lunch and games to follow. Our MD Maureen and her family had the privilege of spending this Christmas with the Newcastle branch and had a first-hand account of just how valuable this service is. All those in attendance were extremely happy and grateful to spend the day among friends and it was certainly a wonderful experience to be a part of.
