For Westray we are committed to help tackling social and environmental issues, but also raise our own initiatives to help tackle Mental Health and create Net Zero recruitment.
Westray Net Zero
Our green talent solution
Carbon driven climate change presents an existential threat to our way of life and to your business.
We all need to understand the impact that our carbon footprint has on the planet and find ways to be more sustainable
There will be increasing pressure from stakeholders and investors to ensure that the businesses they deal with, have robust policies and processes in place to mitigate their carbon footprint.
Within the recruitment sector, candidates are becoming climate aware and are choosing to join businesses that match their own belief system.
This is why we’ve partnered with progressive start-up Greenify and have introduced Westray Net Zero to our business model/service offering, to offer our clients the ability to off-set the environmental footprint of their new hires and join the fight against climate change and environmental disasters.
Why should you ‘GREENIFY’ your new hire with Westray Net Zero?
A greenified hire is backed by a number of natural climate solutions that rebalance the typical UK inhabitants annual ecological footprint. All the projects are fully verified and certified to world leading carbon standards.
Wellbeing @ Westray
Supporting mental health
Mental health issues affect one in four people at some point in their lives and have a significant impact on employee wellbeing, as well as being a major cause of long-term absence from work.
At Westray Recruitment Group, we promote positive mental health through our Wellness @ Westray programme by providing support for those members of our temporary workforce who may struggle with these issues. We also have various employee support initiatives in place for Westray staff, with free and confidential access to professional support.
By having mental health first aiders as part of our team, we are able to guide people towards the right support quickly and effectively before the situation becomes worse and they find themselves unable to cope. Early intervention is very important when helping someone who may be developing a mental health issue and this is why we have strategies in place so that our workforce know how they can reach us and at any time.
All of our temporary workers have access to the Wellbeing @ Westray programme, which include drop in sessions and workshops to help provide the support they need but also give employers a happy healthy workforce.
If you want to work with a business who puts your temporary workers at the heart of everything they do, then talk with us.
A representative from Westray will be in touch with you shortly.
