THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit an experienced Quality Technician who has worked in a Machine Shop previously and has experience operating a CMM Machine.

The business is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

THE ROLE

• Working as a Quality Technician within a busy machine shop facility
• Delivering inspection work
• Using quality tools to assure quality– vernier’s, micrometer’s, calliper’s, etc
• Operating a CMM machine
• Recording and documenting quality
• Working to targets

THE PERSON

• Previous Quality Technician within a Machine Shop is essential
• Previous operation of a CMM Machine is essential
• Proactive nature
• Strong focus and attention to detail
• Proficient with IT packages

THE PACKAGE

The role will pay circa £25K-£30K with experience

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-12pm
