NPI Manager / Engineer

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking to find NPI Manager/Engineer to join out client based in Cramlington.

This is a great opportunity to join a business who are rapidly growing and expanding into new markets.

They offer the right candidate a salary of £45k per annum.

THE BUSINESS

Our client is growing rapidly, are expanding their factory and workforce.

They have just had a turnover of £6.5 million and have the potential of doubling that over the next year.

They supply PCB’s for the Automotive, Security and Oil & Gas sectors.

THE ROLE

• The role will be responsible for NPI Engineering tasks as allocated by the NPI Director
• Management and implementation of selected Improvement projects relating to New Product Introduction, Production processes and Machinery
• Liaising with customers on and off site
• Creating production plans from customer design/specifications
• Cradle to the grave project management

THE PERSON

• Driven individual possessing sound project management skills and the ability to motivate the team around them.
• Comes from an electronics background
• Strong ability to work within a team
• Degree qualified, or candidates will possess equivalent levels of experience.
• Candidates with Lean 6 Sigma qualifications, minimum of Green Belt, are preferred

THE PACKAGE

• 8am – 430pm Monday to Thursday / 230pm finish on Fridays
• Contributary pension scheme
• 25 days holidays + bank holidays
• Salary up to £45k depending on experience
