THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our client based in Washington. The right candidate will be joining a company established over 40 years ago with a solid reputation within their field. The company in question are specialists in manufacturing, servicing and repair of high-quality industrial equipment and machinery. Our client have customers nationwide and oversees so some travel is expected from the successful candidate. THE ROLE

• Working in a small engineering team
• Service repair and manufacture of industrial equipment/machinery
• Fault finding duties
• Basic electrical maintenance
• UK wide travel (very occasional oversees travel)
• Working in an industrial environment in house and on client sites
• Working on compressed air systems

THE PERSON

• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
• Previous HVAC experience would be advantageous
• Working knowledge of power electrics would be advantageous
• CSCS card would be advantageous
• Previous experience working with compressed air systems is essential
• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Basic electrical knowledge is essential
