Westray Recruitment Consultants is working alongside a bespoke manufacturer based in County Durham to source an experienced Machine Operator.

The successful candidate will have a proven ability to operate machines. It would be highly beneficial for candidates to have prior experience setting machines.

This is a temp to perm role following a successful probation period.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE?

Set and operate specialist manufacturing machinery
Change machine tools and adjust machine control setting
Learn how to programme specialist production machinery
Operate machines
Load and unload parts
Work to deliver production targets
Abide by strict levels of health and safety

WHAT EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

Candidates must have experience setting and operating complex production machinery
Applicants who have experience programming machinery will be preferred
Must have prior experience working within a fast paced, high volume production environment
Must have drive and determination to acquire new skills and learn new processes

WHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS OF YOUR ROLE?

This is a temp to perm role working a 41-hr week. The hours of work are Monday - Thurs 6am-3pm - Friday 6am-11am / Monday - Thurs 3pm-12pm - Friday 11am - 4pm

WHAT SALARY PACKAGE YOU WILL BE RECEIVING

This role pays £9.60 per hour and comes with a weekly shift allowance that equates to a weekly wage of £429.69
