Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck & Reach Truck Drivers

THE COMPANY

Westray Recruitment Consultants is looking to recruit experienced Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck & Reach Truck Drivers to work within a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment based in the Shiremoor area.

This is an immediate urgent requirement with highly competitive pay rates.

Applicants must have in date Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck & Reach Truck certification and be competent with their operation.

We are seeking multiple applicants as we have numerous positions available.

THE ROLE

• Operating Counter Balance Fork Lift Trucks & Reach Trucks
• Line feeding goods to and from busy production lines
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Assisting to pack components within fast paced, high volume production lines
• Adhering to strict health and safety protocol
• Working to attain and surpass production targets in terms of volume, quality, and delivery
• Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by Line Managers

THE EXPERIENCE

• Must have experience of driving counterbalance and reach FLT trucks with appropriate valid certifications
• Candidates will ideally have experience of working within a similar role in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• The ability to take direction and work off own initiative
• A committed and dedicated working attitude
• A flexible approach to work due to various shift patterns
• Due to the unsociable nature of shifts it will prove beneficial for applicants to hold their own transport.

THE CONTRACT

We require candidates to be flexible in terms of shifts as these will rotate between days, backs and nights.

Candidates are expected to be able to accommodate full shift working.

This is a full-time role with full-time hours. This is ongoing work with a high possibility of transferring perm.

The hours are 6am-2pm Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday and 10pm-6am Monday to Thursday.

THE SALARY

This position pays £11.08 for all hours and comes with available overtime
