THEROLE
- WorkinginanEC&Icapacity
- Electricaltasksinclude–poweringmachinery,workingwith3phasesystems,workingwithrelays&contactors,ensuringplantup-keep,maintainingsteamdrivensystems,maintaining3largeindustrialsteamboilers,maintainingdistillationprocesses,pumps,tanksandassociatedequipment
- Controltasksinclude–UtilisingAllenBradleyPLC’sforfaultfinding&diagnosticwork,faultfinding&settingdryrunprotectionsystems,controllingcentrifugalpumpsandaidingtheautomationoftheplant
- Instrumentationtasksinclude–WorkingwithEndress&Hauserinstrumentationproducts,monitoring/settingradarlevels,flowmeters,levelprobesandhigh-levelswitchprotectionsystems
- UpdatingandloggingtaskswithintheSAPmaintenancesystem
- Reactingtobreakdownsanddeliveringplannedmaintenance
- Dealingwithoutsidecontractorstoaidworkswhereappropriate
