£31.7k per annum – equates to £16.48 per hour based on a 37 hour week

THE BUSINESS
Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our client based in South Tyneside. The right candidate will be joining a global company with nearly 100 years of history. They have a well established reputation and experts in their industry. An opportunity has arisen for a CNC Machinist to join their team.
THE ROLE
Responsible for setting and operating CNC Turning machines including Mori Seiki, Okuma, CMZ – looking for experience of these machines
Modify/edit programs as and when required – uploading or downloading programs
Measure and inspect the parts you manufacture to ensure compliance with drawings
Be able to work as an individual or part of a team
THE PERSON
You must be able to demonstrate experience in CNC Turning
Extensive knowledge of FANUC program and controls
Be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
Be proficient in the use of all types of measuring equipment e.g. micrometres, verniers, bore clocks etc…
Computer literate
Flexibility is a must, you will be required to move and work in other areas of the business as load dictates
