If this interests you, the full details of what they need to complete their team are below;


  • Responsible for the process flow of raw materials from intake at cold stores (both on site and at third party providers) throughout the production process
  • Resolution of stock issues and running stock counts periodically and analysis as required
  • Data logging of materials and monitoring usage efficiency through Manufacturing Orders
  • Continuous improvement of process making recommendations to offer significant impact into processes.
  • You would work closely with site Finance and Operation teams to maximize material usage
  • Managing the workflow of the Stores team in conjunction with operations team.


  • Demonstrable background in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry but this is not essential
  • Experience within a fast-moving consumer goods environment
  • Experience of working within warehouse or stock control role
  • Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work functionally within all levels of the business
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach is necessary in order to thrive within this role
  • Understanding of site KPI’s and how these are calculated
  • Knowledge of customer requirements and specific retailer codes
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook
  • Focus on attention to detail and maintaining high standards
  • Computer literate including Microsoft office and in-house computer systems


As a stock controller, you would work office hours of 40 hours a week Monday – Friday to be confirmed upon offer of the role.

Salary circa £30k - £35k

This is a permanent position within Leeming bar, so ideally candidates will have access to transport to ensure they can travel to the place of work.
