We are delighted to bring you the opportunity to join a dynamic, e-commerce and digital marketing company, to be based at their site in Gateshead as a SEO and Content Executive.

As an experienced Digital Marketing Executive, you will work in an all-encompassing digital marketing role, with a specific focus on Search Engine Optimisation. You will work within a very close-knit team of talented and highly motivated people, bringing a passion for digital marketing.

Your duties will include:

  • Owning, developing and implementing effective SEO strategies for a portfolio of ecommerce stores
  • Advising on best practice technical SEO techniques for the development team to implement
  • Developing and adopting outreach strategies to build quality links to stores
  • Maintaining and improving the product catalogue data using suggestions from the team and your own initiative
  • Managing website content using the content management system
  • Writing engaging content for the company website, including product descriptions, content for social media postings and blogs
  • Contributing to and assisting with the overall marketing strategy


To be considered for the SEO and Content Executive role, you will bring the following skills and experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience of Search Engine Optimisation
  • Confident using SEO tools such as Moza and SEM Rush
  • Confident and experienced with Google Analytics / Search Console
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An excellent writing style which is accurate and engaging
  • assionate about digital marketing, with a desire to keep on top of new techniques and share best practices

An understanding of the following would also be preferred:

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Experience Magento 1 or 2 or a similar CMS


You will receive a basic annual salary of between £20,000 and £25,000 for this position, depending on your experience (this may be negotiable!)


This is full-time, permanent position, working 40 hours a week between Monday and Friday.
