My new place of work is a fabulous place to be involved with, from the minute you arrive, you are treated as part of their team rather than just the temp. Although it is only the end of my first day I do feel a sense of belonging and am looking forward to returning tomorrow. The Training Manager treats me with respect; he does not introduce me as his "new temp" - he introduces me by name and explains I am the new administrator for the team and that I am there to support the site. He has a good sense of humour, many years of experience and provides a great overview of where they are and where they are heading. He has made me feel like a valued employee who is part of the future success of the new developments. I also have the opportunity to visit their Head Office and work from there on occasion so I will meet more of the team and learn more about how things run - which is beneficial in my role.
