Type of Candidates Based on GoT Characters

The most popular TV show in recent history is arguably one of the most diverse as well. With multiple lessons to be learnt, it also showcases a rage of characters, from the shy emerging leader, Jon Snow, to proud and popular, Cersei Lannister.

Candidates view recruitment consultants as the last Great Wall between them and the potential employer.

Missandei

Previously a corporate slave, she is looking for a better life. She is a fast learner and wise beyond her years due to previous hard earned experiences.

She is a loyal advisor and can be entrusted to deliver your word into the business community. She also knows many languages and has a strong voice, speaking in a way everyone hears.

Highly adaptive, she is not afraid to step into a man’s world and communicate her thoughts.

Verdict: Once you got her loyalty, it’s for life!

Ser Davos Seaworth

A gem for your company!

His past might not be the brightest, but you can see clear evidences of a loyal man, with a lot of experience in his field. He has been there since the beginning and he knows all the little tips which make the job easier and more successful. He also has an extensive network and often knows every person in the room.

On the other hand, don’t expect him to use new tech or post Instagram stories. It’s not going to happen. He can be convinced of the necessity of a fresh approach, but will be reluctant to participate.

However, in time of crisis you can count on him. People trust him and will rely on him for expert advice.

Verdict: Can bring industry experience to the table

Cersei Lannister

She is good with money and has been aware what a ‘good debt’ means since her infancy.

In her mid-30s, she can successfully negotiate with representatives of the richest bank in the known world. She is known to always pay her debts and is a solid figure in business.

She is strongly family oriented, but don’t confuse her for a softie! The day she will back down from a challenge is far away and will take every offence personal (even if it takes her years to act).

Verdict: She will bring your company money and brand awareness

Jon Snow

This introvert will quietly listen to what everyone in the room is saying. He won’t speak much during the interview and his CV will be the only one doing the talking.

Working hard, he owns everything he has and is always in control as he is leading with a strong mind and kind words.

While it might not be obvious at first, he is a natural born leader, but he’s not in a rush to welcome the fame and glory. He will take controversial decisions sometimes and many will challenge them, but he knows better to listen his instincts.

Verdict: Good to have in your start-up

Brandon Stark

It is not known exactly how, but this candidate has a track record of being ahead of the game. With complex analysis and being up to date with the latest news, he says, the companies which have employed him, have had a higher turnover.

His CV shows great analytical skills with a detailed oriented perspective.

He is a late bloomer and arrived in the industry quite recently, so nobody has heard of him yet. However, his family are well known and have a strong reputation in the country. Surely, he won’t be able to stay under the radar for much longer.

Verdict: Good to have in your company

Ramsay Bolton

We hope you will never have this candidate in the interview room!

He will terrify the receptionist with a cruel smile and will make you regret the day you set up his interview. You will leave the room with a heavy head and blurry vision.

He can be recognised from his charming LinkedIn smile and terrified profile recommendations written by anxious connections threatened by his swor…. erm pen. His CV will be complex and will have obvious details regarding his path to power.

Easily categorised as one of the hardest interviews of your life, this Bolton is known to always finish his enemies…

Verdict: RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!
