IT APPRENTICESHIP BREAKFAST PRESENTATION

Westray Recruitment Consultants have teamed up with Baltic Training Services to host a presentation aimed at companies looking to develop and support their internal IT team.

We are proud to support young people in their drive to get into work in this challenging economic climate, and we want to inform you how apprentices can benefit your business.

We are inviting local businesses to attend a short presentation on Thursday, 26 January between 8:30-10:30am at North Sand Business Centre in Sunderland where you will discover the benefits of taking on an apprentice to support your IT department.

If you were to join the apprenticeship programme, you could save your business £11,000 in the first year. Businesses will pay the equivalent of just £97 per week over the course of the 40 week initiative. The first 15 weeks will be an intensive classroom based training programme where they will obtain Microsoft Certified Training. The remaining 25 weeks will see the apprentice on work based learning with their designated business. If companies were to take on a qualified IT Professional, they would be looking to pay a minimum of £16,000 as a starting salary. The roles covered in the apprenticeship include:

  • IT and Customer Support
  • Installation
  • Networking
  • Maintenance

The financial benefits are there for all to see but the incentives are not just fiscal. Businesses will obtain a young, keen and loyal individual at the conclusion of the apprenticeship.
