THE ROLE
What does it take to make a great Recruitment Consultant? Put simply, it is the will to deliver superb customer service to our candidates and clients as well as exceeding their expectations at every opportunity. Entrepreneurialism and the ability to innovate are two characteristics you must possess as well as being extremely hardworking, confident, articulate and friendly. Entrepreneurial spirit is a must as our team is encouraged to drive the division forward using creative thinking, tenacity and business savvy.
Yes, you will have some early morning starts and yes, you will have some late finishes. This is because our clients operate outside of normal office hours but it doesn't happen all of the time. Preparation and organisation help us to foresee any potential need to start early or finish late.
Recruitment is an interesting job but sometimes very difficult, particularly within the Industrial sector, and because of this we encourage only the most flexible and determined people to apply. We find that CVs don't always tell us everything about a person and it is only through meeting with you that we can really assess your skills and suitability for a role with Westray Recruitment. If you're interested in forging a career in this fantastic industry, send us your CV, you never know, it could be the dream job you've been looking for.
The primary tasks involved with the role include:-
- Sourcing and interviewing candidates from a multitude of sectors
- Matching candidates with client job specifications to successfully fill job vacancies
- Liaising with clients on a regular basis both in person and over the phone
- Arranging and conducting site inductions
- Business to business sales

- Attending networking events to promote the Westray brand
- Maintaining a detailed activity log utilising the in-house database
